Interior Crush: A Blogger’s Envy-Inducing Apartment (& Closet!)

Every once in awhile, I come across a home tour that I not only admire, but would actually 100% move into tomorrow, given the chance. Blogger Stephanie Sterjovski and her husband Neal’s condo is just one of those spaces. It doesn’t hurt that they worked with one of my favorite designers to style the space, Jacquelyn Clark of Lark & Linen.

Stephanie told Domino that their goal “was to create a space that relied heavily on a neutral palette with minimalism in mind” — between that and the combination of cool tones and layered textures, it’s no wonder I love this space.

Let’s start in Stephanie’s “cloffice” (closet/office) because I think it might honestly be my favorite room in the entire space:

I’m incredibly jealous that Stephanie, a lifestyle blogger, has an entire room to dedicate to her work — plus her closet is so well organized and styled. It’s actually an IKEA PAX system, which just goes to show how wonderful and versatile IKEA really is.

With a closet that gorgeous, I wouldn’t mind displaying it to the living area, either.

This netural shelfie is the stuff of my shelfie dreams, from the expertly layered art on the top shelf to the coffee table books displayed thoughtfully throughout.

The subway tile with dark grout, black hardware and wooden stools add drama and interest to an otherwise bright and neutral kitchen. (The only thing it’s missing? A coffee maker. Is it hiding in a cupboard?)

The bedroom is luxe, gorgeous and actually feels like both a man and a woman live here… perfectly blending masculine and feminine. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good bachelorette pad, but those work best for, well, bachelorettes.

I love love love this apartment, but the bedding and tufted headboard are actually a bit traditional for my taste… I’d go with something more steamlined and minimal, personally. But hey, it’s not actually my apartment, and the decor works beautifully for Stephanie and Neal.

The bathroom features more subway tile and a print from Stephanie’s print shop — and, of course, luxe blogger staples like fresh flowers and Aesop soap.

I love the way this apartment features cool, minimal tones but layers in different textures (like wood, furs and florals) to keep things warm and inviting. Monochrome color palettes like the one in Neal and Stephanie’s apartment instantly create sophistication in a space, and can be updated with pops of color to suit your mood, the season or changing trends.

While Stephanie and Neal’s apartment features some luxe (aka expensive) touches like a giant Diptyque candle, a lot of the furniture and features are actually pretty affordable. Shop the look for your own space below, and let me know if you love it as much as I do in the comments!
