I have a print out of Jenna Lyons’s life rules hanging on my desk, have pinned her Park Slope Brownstone countless times, and her musing that “leopard is a neutral” was the direct inspiration for the name of this blog. So when The New York Times Style Magazine shared photos of her Soho Loft recently, I was instantly obsessed.
And I’m not the only one with a style crush on Jenna — according to the article, former British Prime Minister David Cameron’s wife Samantha based their London living room on Jenna’s Park Slope Brownstone. The profile also highlights Jenna’s “skill at mixing unexpected elements to achieve a look that feels fanciful if not quite fancy” when talking about her styling work and creative direction at J.Crew, but it’s abundantly evident in her interior decor as well.
